El despertar/Awakening

"Todo lo que es, es el Ser

el ser es la única realidad que existe

reconocerse en el ser

es volver a casa

es el despertar"

"Everything that is, is Being

Being is the only reality that exists

recognizing oneself in the being

is returning home

it is awakening"

One of his students asked Buddha, "Are you the messiah?"

"No", answered Buddha.

"Then are you a healer?"

"No", Buddha replied.

"Then are you a teacher?" the student persisted.

"No, I am not a teacher."

"Then what are you?" asked the student, exasperated.

"I am awake", Buddha replied.
